Sandi Lovric was interviewed after Udinese fell to a 3-0 defeat to Juventus on the opening matchday of the season:
“We played poorly in the first half, we just didn’t get off to a good start. It’s hard to come back from three goals down against a team like Juventus.
“We’ve got so many top players and anyone in the squad can contribute.
“We did better in the second half but we still ended the game 3-0 losers. We need to pick ourselves up and look forward.
“We’ll look back on the match and try to improve. Away at Salernitana will pose a different challenge, but it’ll be tough all the same. We want to bounce back. We’ve seen the effects of getting off to a bad start.
“This evening we were late in duels, lacked aggression and if you give players of this quality as much space as we did then they’ll punish you.”
